Dia De Los Muertos Workshop

Description:
 Join Washington State Arts Commission Teaching Artists Ruby Re-Usable and Isaac Shultz-Reyes for an evening of creativity and learning. Isaac, a native of Mexico City, will provide a brief historical overview of the holiday. Pan de Muerto and Mexican hot chocolate will be served. Afterwards, Isaac and Ruby will have stations where you can make your own papel picado calavera banners and recycled art calavera figurines. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own personal items. Preregistration is required; sign up on the library's online events calendar or by calling or stopping by the library. This workshop is open to ages 8 and up.
