Raymond Celebrates 100 Years of Library Service

Description:
 One hundred years ago, 116 people visited the newly opened Free Raymond Public library. Be one of the first 116 visitors today and receive a prize. Cake and punch will be served at 3 p.m. At 3:30 will be a presentation, "Logging History of the Olympic Peninsula 1895-1930." Visit the library again on Saturday at 2 p.m. for the continuing celebration, including history displays, tours and a performance, "Waltzing in the Trees: Folk Music from Pioneer America" with Bill Compher and Leslie Rousos.
