Description:
This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Washington State Parks. Join photographer Jonathan Nelson to discover the process of creating the State Park Virtual Tours that are found on the Washington State Parks Foundation Website. While taking thousands of photographs (many in hard-to-reach locations) creating 360-degree panoramas and interactive virtual tours, he has had access to areas rarely seen by the public. This program is part of Timberland Reads Together: “Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher: The Epic Life and Immortal Photographs of Edward Curtis” by Timothy Egan, Timberland Regional Library’s one book-one community reading initiative for 2013.
