 The Throwaways is a timely and provocative look at the impact of mass incarceration and police brutality on black men in America. Told through the eyes of homeless filmmaker and ex-felon, Ira McKinley, the film documents his struggle to bring positive changes to his community in inner-city Albany, NY. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Olympia Library. This program will occur after hours and no other library services will be available.
