Crafting a Complete Story - Where to Start your Story

Event Type: Adult Program
Age Group(s): Adults, Teens middle & high school
Date: 1/13/2018
Start Time: 2:00 PM
End Time: 4:00 PM
Description:
A great story must start strong to get the readerís attention. Each novelís beginning must be a balancing act of description, backstory, and action. Participants in this workshop will learn how much backstory to include in their novel, how to identify essential establishing information, and how to effectively drop their readers into the action.

This is the first of a four-class workshop series taught by local author Lindsay Schopfer. Although these classes work best together, attendance for all three classes is not required.
